How I got started

Nearly 80 y.o. I picked up a paintbrush for the first time since 4th Grade. Tutored by successful painters on the net I was soon painting acrylics and watercolors that my friends approved of. AngelaFeahr.com offered some free lessons to get me started. Stephen Cronin on the web also demonstrated some simple instructions I could follow. They suggested the materials I would need, the brushes, paints and papers to buy. I was off and running.

Painting a little each day I found it to be a relaxing, almost meditative process. This fit well with my 35 years interest in the study of spiritual, not religious writers such as Pema Chodrun a Popular American writer on Love, Forgiveness, Peace of mind. I've included a short video of her and Bill Moyers sharing here some Q&A about spirituality I found worth watching.
